With the increased use of AI in rephrasing how we speak on social media, it’s been used in messages sent in the DMs as well.
I received a chat message from an acquaintance whom we message once in awhile. Her long and slightly flowery message made me slightly suspicious, as she usually doesn’t send messages like this.
I asked her to clarify what she meant. She apologised and explained that she had used AI to expand on her initial message.
She sent over the initial message and I understand her points immediately. I also appreciated the directness of it. Less of my brain twisting itself into a pretzel trying to comprehend the message behind the message 🫠🥲
What happens when more and more of communication, even casual communication isn’t what we would usually say?
